A Lecture on the Occasion of Black History Month

On Friday, 21 February 2020, at the Faculty of Philology, University of Banja Luka, a lecture was given on the occasion of The Black History Month international event. The lecture, organised in cooperation with the English Department of the Faculty of Philology and the US Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina – the Banja Luka Office, was delivered to students and staff of the Department by Mr Charles C. Blake, Deputy Director of the Office, featuring racial and cultural topics in the USA. Following the lecture, a meeting was organised between Mr Blake and representatives of the Faculty and the Department, Prof. Petar Penda, PhD, Dean, and Dr Emir Muhic, Head, respectively, during which the topics of the Faculty and Department promotion, of cooperation with the American Corner Banja Luka, and of further collaborative activities between the two institutions were discussed.
